How many options can you fit into a bare-bones K2, including the 100 watt power amp? I can't see how all K2 options would fit into the case! And also, what are the most popular options everyone has, and why? There are only a few options that are mutally exclusive. Otherwise you can
fully load it. Case 1: Only one Audio filter the KAF2 or the KDSP2 Case 2: The KAT2 and KBT2 can coexist, but neither can coexist with the KPA100 Case 3: KPA100 or KIO2, not both as the KPA100 has the KIO2 built-in. My Radio has the KPA100, KDSP2, KNB2, K160RX, KSB2, FDIMP and K60XV and numerous upgrades and revisions. Of course seeing as the KAT2 couldn't work with the KPA100, I have the KAT100 external. You cannot have both the KDSP2 and KAF2, since they both install in the same socket and supply filtering of the audio signal. My favorite options are the KAT2 and KDSP2. Tony,
The KSB2, KNB2, K160RX, and K60XV install with no conflicts. The KAF2 and the KDSP2 both fit into the same place, so you can have one or the other, but not both at the same time. The KBT2, KIO2, and KAT2 fit into the top cover which is displaced when the KPA100 is fitted - of course, the KPA100 can be mounted externally in the EC2 enclosure if one wishes to retain these options. The KIO2 is needed in the K2 to operate the KPA100 externally. There is not much extra space with the KPA100 mounted - that is true, but it is not overly cramped. The KSB2 and KNB2 can be found in most K2s, and the others depend on the operator/owner's requirements and operating preferences. 73, Don W3FPR > -----Original Message----- > > How many options can you fit into a bare-bones K2, including the 100 > watt power amp?
