Origin of 8-pole Filter Plots

Mike KS7D
Does anyone know how the 8-pole filter plots on Elecraft's web site were generated? Are they from a test jig in a laboratory setting, or are they from crystals filters that were installed in a K3 when they were tested? If they were tested in a K3 what test setup/protocol was used to generate the plots? Thanks in advance for any insight that can be offered.

Thanks Gary. I checked the INRAD site and the crystal filter plots posted there for filters available for the K3 are similar to, but slightly different, than the plots posted on Elecraft's site. They apparently use a program called YADDS Sweeper v3.27. Does anyone know how this program is utilized in measuring crystal filters? Is the filter measured in the radio or in a test jig?

Mike,

I’m not an expert on this subject, but I do recall finding the identical plots on the INRAD website back before the K3 had even gone into production.  Thus, I would ask them this question.
