P3-K was shipped USPS Priority Mail Wednesday afternoon, August 11, and was delivered Friday mid afternoon after traveling almost 3000 miles. Maybe the USPS is losing money, but they surely give fast service (less than 48 hours) with Prioriy Mail. Upon opening the P3-K I took an inventory, and everything was there..even the hole cover strip and all four of the new jackscrews. Building time was approximately 2 hours, and no parts were left over except the 2 jackscrews the instructions said to remove from the I/O printed circuit assembly. I connected the P3 to my K3, and a beautiful display came on. Now for the learning curve! It seems that setting the bandwidth to +/- 6 Khz gives a good presentation of an SSB signal.
Thanks Elecraft for designing and producing such a nice panadapter. Roy Morris W4WFB
