P3 Frequency Display

My new to me P3 is not displaying the frequency but rather at the top has a 0 in the middle and +5, and -5 at either end if the spread is set to 10 for example. How do I get the frequency displayed please?

That sounds like either, there is no RS232 connection cable between the
K3(S) and the P3 or, the P3 radio configuration is not properly set.
Check the P3 manual for radio configuration and RS232 port speed etc.
