P3 Frequency

Just completed my P3 and hooked it up the K3. everything works fine except that is does not display the center frequency and the qsy function for MKR and B does not work.
Any direction would be appreciated.

Check your serial cable: that it's connected properly and that all
signals run through.

I suggest you double check that your K3 interconnecting cables are connected properly then update the P3 to the latest firmware. If you're using any third party radio control software with you K3 I suggest you disconnect it or turn it off while troubleshooting the P3 problem.

You may have to manually set the K3 to 38400 baud ("RS-232" in the
CONFIG menu). I found out that the P3's auto-baud routine was broken in
version 1.06 (and subsequent) firmware. It will be fixed in the next
update.

Bing Go! Changing the RS232 baud rate to 38400 was the answer.
