P3 Function Key Usage?

Ken Widelitz
I'd like to hear how P3 owners are programming the Function keys.

What are you programming and why?

I keep my headphones plugged in the back all the time and use PF1 to turn
off the speaker when I want to use the phones.

The question was about P3 function keys, I'm looking forward to the day I can programme P3 keys to perform K3 actions.

In a strange twist for this list, apparently no use, let alone clever use,
has been found for the P3's function keys.

So to the programming powers that be, how about the P3 function keys being
able to toggle a few preset SPAN and REF LEVEL settings? Or combinations of
those by band?

The problem is that the promised "P3 Programmer's Manual" is not
available and nobody can write or store the macros necessary to
make use of the Fn keys.  As it is, there is no documentation
available from which to determine what or how to accomplish any
external control.
