P3 Macro question

Mike K2MK
I can actuate a P3 macro from within the P3 Utility. But I don't see a way to attach the macro to one of the function keys. Is that coming?

I added a P3 command to the tail end of an existing K3 macro using the K3 Utility. It worked properly from within the K3 Utility. I then wrote that macro to a K3 button but only the K3 portion of the macro worked. The P3 command never found its way to the P3. I tried putting the P3 command at the front end and the tail end of the macro.

Any ideas?

I asked the same question. I also wanted to to send K3 macros from P3 buttons! I believe
that these features are 'on the list' for future development.

Re: P3 Macro question

Mike K2MK
Hi Alan,

My original posting had two parts. I suspect you answered the question posed in the first paragraph. Do you have any comment on my findings in the second paragraph.

Here is the scenario. I have K3 macros set up for different CW splits. They turn on the Sub RX, copy parameters, turn on split a certain amount, etc.. To that, I wanted to add setting the P3 span an amount consistent with the split. So if I have K3 macros for splits of 1, 2, and 5KHz then I might want to set the P3 spans to 2, 4, and 10KHz respectively.
