P3 SVGA and Mac

Is anyone using a Mac (Apple) monitor and/or computer with the P3 SVGA option?  Here's my image of the perfect world:  Running a logging program on a Macbook Air and being able to toggle quickly from the keyboard between that program and the P3 output, on the Macbook screen.  A near-perfect world would be an outboard monitor capable of the same quick toggle, from P3's SVGA display to logging program resident on the Mac.  Possible?
