P3 - Whatever Happened to...

Haven't heard anything re the P3 lately. Was thinking about buying for
myself last Christmas but was delayed. I hope that it will be compat
with K2 as well as K3.

The Elecraft web site still says "Ships starting 7/15".  I'm not sure
how much effort it would take to connect the P3 to the K2.  It won't be
simple "plug-in" as it is for the K3 though.

Tom,

You must have missed the answer to that question that I posted 3 days
ago.  I am repeating it here FYI.

"The P3 can indeed be used with the K2, but the K2 needs a buffer
amplifier to isolate the IF output.
Take a look at Jack Smith's Z10000B buffer amp at
http://www.cliftonlaboratories.com/current_products.htm.  He has a
version especially for the K2."
