The effect of the IF noise blanker is clearly visible on the P3. However, the K3 schematic shows the IF output (which feeds the P3) picked off AHEAD of the noise blanker. Anyone know what's going on here?
For what it's worth, I also note that IF NB settings, other than OFF, have no effect on the P3 display. That could be, of course, because the noise I'm seeing consists of very short pulses.
By the way, I found the K3 NB to be fairly effective during the ARRL DX contest last weekend, even on crowded bands. While it's performance isn't dramatic, even on an empty band, it did help during the contest, when other kinds of NB are useless.
