P3 display hanging

Paul,
I was using the fixed mode, but have since changed the USB adapter to a FTDI adapter and so far have not had any hang ups, if I do, I'll try changed the mode to see if that helps.

That's great Tim, glad you got it working.   This is one of the reasons
Elecraft uses FTDI chip sets in the KXUSB and KUSB cables.
