P3 halts?

My P3 display halts, locks up.  Only way to get it back going again is to turn power on/off?
The SVGA display keeps working, but nothing works on the P3, only button that works is power.
It has done this on and off since I got it new but not often till today. Today it will only run for a few minutes then it halts.  It did this before I added the SVGA board.  I have reloaded it, did not help.
It halts when nothing is happening, no transmitting or even tuning.
This morning it has halted every few minutes over the last hour or so?
Any ideas or help is appreciated.

Hi Emory,

Have you tried performing a parameter reset on the P3?  Do this by powering off the P3 and then while holding the MENU button, press the POWER key.  If that does not work, please call Elecraft customer support at 831-763-4211 , or email them at k3support@....
