I was pretty excited upon hearing rumours of the impending P3. The excitement dulled a little on hearing rumours of its price being in the $600-$700 range (is that correct?) but it has gone even flatter upon seeing pictures of its display.
Most folks have a much higher-resolution, bigger, and more-colorful display attached to their computers. Consideration of a USB2 or Firewire connection to permit use of a computer-connected monitor must surely have been part of Elecraft's planning. Was the idea rejected? Might it be possible in the future?
