PC Utility issues

Hi!

I have a K3 station with K3, P3, KPA500 and KAT500 connected with the
correct Elecraft-supplied serial cables.  The station works great, band
changes are rippled through all components correctly and I have no
operational issues.  The PC is 64-bit Win7SP1.

I am however having a problem using both the KAT Utility Revision
1.13.5.12, and KPA Utility Version 1.13.29.  Although both stop port
polling at the correct port and speed (COM8, 38000 bit/s), no MCU rev
window pops up as it does with the K3 or P3 Utilities, and no further
action is possible with either utility.  I just verified that this setup
works correctly with the P3 Utility to UL the new P3 firmware and with
the K3 Utility, and then made no other changes afterward.

I tried a full power-down and PC reboot, trying the KPA powered on
first, etc., no joy.

Any ideas?
