I'm sitting in New Hampshire and I find I can't get my computer
to talk to the KX3 when it goes through the PX3 using the ACC1-PC jack. The computer can talk to the KX3 when plugged in directly to ACC1 jack on the KX3, and the PX3 can get the frequency data when plugged into the same jack. I have the same problem with both wsjt-x and RUMlogNG, so I don't think the problem is in the computer software. The USB <--> RS232 seems to be working, so I suspect the PX3. Does anyone have any suggestions for something to fix to get both the computer and the PX3 to talk to the KX3? (I'm low on test equipment here, but I do have a DVM.) Is the *host serial port baud rate* set correctly in the PX3?

Bingo! It had been reset from 38400 to 9600. I have no idea how
or when. Thanks for the clue. 73 Bill AE6JV (BTW, did I say that I hate RS232. With all the parameters that can go wrong, and many strange voltage conventions, it seems to be an interface designed to cause problems.) But it doesn’t the P3 talks to the K3 at 38,400. Weird things can happen when mixing nauseates. Why ask for trouble.
BTW: My K3S came defaulted to 38,400. I think the 4800 on the K3 was a carryover from K2 days.
