Wow! Many thanks, I didn't realise it was simply an oversight, and not some basic limitation in the way the hardware worked.
If you would like me to beta test the new version I would be happy to do so, especially as we have good auroral conditions just now and that is where I use RIT a lot.
I noticed it when I was working in the aurora on 144 MHz where the Doppler shift can mean that callers reply on a different frequency to where I am transmitting, and the PX3 is very useful for spotting where they are and of course RIT is the best way to tune them in, but the moment I touched the RIT the display froze, making it harder to tune them in realtime.
Incidentally having the PX3 display the bandwidth of the receiver is also very useful as I can match the bandwidth of the receiver to the frequency spread of the auroral CW signal very easily.
