Pigtail for K3

Does anybody know where to get a pigtail for the microphone connector on a
K3?

I got the one for my Heil ProSet 5 from HRO.  You can probably get one
from HRO, AES, GigaParts, or any ham radio gear retail establishment
that sells the mics/headphones.

Do you mean the adapter that plugs into the K3 panel and splits provides a
3.5 mm mono microphone jack and a 1/4" mono footswitch jack?

That's a Heil Sound AD-1 K.  Any dealer that stocks the Heil product line
should carry it, here's one:

The picture should show a red bead rather than the pale blue bead shown.
There are different colored "beads" to distinguish the various adapters for
Kenwood, Icom, Yaesu, etc.

The red "Kenwood" adapter is fine for the Elecraft K3.

Often the adapter is included with Heil headphones.  The Elecraft Proset-K2
Headset (by Heil Sound) includes one.
