Please join the hunt for Polar Bears! On Saturday, October 27th, 2007 we
start yet another Polar Bear Moonlight Madness Event Season. QRPers
known as Polar Bears will go out into the Full moon night and operate
our QRP radios. This is really a fun event and all QSOs are not
contest-type QSOs, but raw chews! To find out more about this unique

operating from Pulpit Rock on the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania.
Some will drive up the mountain while others will hike the 2.5 miles to
the summit. I'll hike to the summit so why not give me a qso for the
effort!
Most of the polar bears will setup in a large field on the summit known
as the Lehigh Valley Amateur Astronomical Society Site.
