Hello,
First of all I would like to wish everyone a Prosperous New Year.
Some of the QRP Polar Bears are going to be out operating on the QRP
frequencies + or - due to QRM today. Look for the Polar Bears between 16:00
and 18:00 UTC. KC0SYS will be on the SSB QRP Freq.
There will be several of us out there but we will not be jumping into any
water. ;-)
WB3AAL, I will be out on the trail from 15:00 UTC until possibly 19:00 UTC
on the QRP CW freq. I am trying to close in on my 500 QSO from the
Appalachian Trail. Going to take a short walk to the pond near Strausstown,
PA to setup and operate. If you hear me and send your call, please give me
about 30 seconds to come back to you. It cold out and the fingers don't move
too fast and it takes time to slip the key fingers out of the wool glove. I
will be using my K1 on the trail.
