Mike,
Actually, it works quite well and not a gimmick. My only complaint with it
is that the signals are not notched from the waterfall. On the six meter
beacon band the flex5000 has quite a few low level spurs that mess up the
utility of the waterfall while the spurs are taken out nicely by the TNF.
