Hi,
I recently sold my Yaesu FT-897 because my K2 replace it for sure... :-)
I was using this rig for outdoor activity. I only sold the rig and the
tuner, but kept the brand new batteries and charger.... for another
good usage...
I now use my "old" new FT-897 batteries that give 13.2V and 4500 mAh
with universal Anderson Power Product connectors, so this way I can
switch easy between them. Also, I can use batterie to power up my MFJ
259B antenna analyzer with my Buddipole antenna for tuning.
See more at my website:
http://homepage.mac.com/jfmenard/PhotoAlbum29.htmlIt will do the job for now until I build the "real" batterie kit for
the K2, that is for sure, more convenient to use.
