Production Idea

Has anyone come up with a speaker to fit in the top section of an EC2?
Thought that if I get a tuner, it would be nice to have a full range speaker
in a matching case to go with my k2.

I have been meaning to ask WA6FWF how this has worked out and what speaker and
power supply was used.  Thanks for reminding me.

Hi All,
it has worked out really well... the speaker is just a small oval but it
doesn't have the same efficiency that the Elecraft K2 speaker has... so you
have to turn the audio up higher for the same volume, but facing forward right
at you makes up for some of that difference.
I was going to stick a small audio amp in the case and decided it was
easier to buy another K2 speaker  and make a new plastic mounting plate to
hold it...

the power supply is a Samlex sec1223 which has been fine so far running the
K2/100.
