Elecrafters,
i have a Prolific USB<>serial Adapter for a laptop<>K3 connection. While the installation (installation? what installation?) under Ubuntu was just plug&play, win7 32bit drives me nuts. The installer exe from the Prolific website crashed with an error. So for now i use a usb 1.1 driver dated 2003 which a friend sent me. But i think this Adaptor is capable of USB2.0, so here is my question: Has anyone out there in radioland managed to install the latest prolific driver and is willing to dig in his system for the files i need an send them to me? They should be named serenum.sys and ser?pl.* where ? is one more letters/figures and * is for .sys .inf .vxd. The files should be in the windows\system32\drivers folder. They are a few tens of kilobyte in size. I'm not sure if i have any advantage with USB 2.0, but heck.... -- 73, Martin DM4iM ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
