we'd send them up to TV maintenance to get some dynode spots
(anybody remember them?).

We used to send our techs out for a 6x9 hole saw when I was an audio EE
a few years back...  Either that or speaker lube.  Now that I've been
doing a lot of work on helping build an EMC chamber up I'll never forget
when we got some of the workers to help mop up an RF leak. ;)
