Good point! There seem to be three (so far, email threads seem to be
infinite in length if studied closely):
1. Oak Hills Research <
http://www.ohr.com/wattmeter.htm> This looks
like a pretty good match to my needs, runs in the $100 range as a kit.
Since I have a need (other than QRP) to be able to measure small power
levels with something a little lighter than my service monitor, this may
be my choice.
2. E-meter (N8LP) <www.telepostinc.com/n8lp.html> Larry appears to
have a whole suite of products, of which this is just one that
integrates into others. Specs suggest very good sensitivity, wide
range, and high accuracy. Might be overkill for me, but looks like a
great product suite.
3. Ten-Tec: I couldn't find anything on their site, but a query
brought the response that they do have a lower power wattmeter/SWR
bridge, but that they don't class it as QRP and don't recommend use
below 10W.
So far, that is what I believe I know. As always, I'll be glad to
discuss what I "guess I know" and anything at all that I don't know.
