QUESTION- EQUIVALEBCE OF SYSTENS

I am now using an Icom756proII and an electracraft 500 watt power amplifier. If I replace my Icom with the electracraft receiver-100 watt, what else will I need to have an equivalent system? thanks. k4mwe.

Larry,

A K3 (with sub-receiver and ant tuner) and P3 with your KPA-500 would be
equivalent, functionally, to the IC 756 PRO II and KPA-500 you now have.
Of course, it would work a lot better because the K3's RX is superior to
the PRO II's (I think).

You can find both the K3 and the IC756 (all flavors) in Sherwood's

Note that the K3's subreceiver has performance identical to its main  
receiver.
