Question: Over-voltage protection (OVP) for K2, K1

Brian Kassel
Dave:

I would be interested in purchasing several kits, but some would be at
QRP levels, while others would be for something like 20-25A, if the
price were reasonable.

Brian,
Were I to do any kitting up of OVP parts, I'd probably just use the
Power-One modules, which cost around $10 and $16 for the OVP-12 and
OVP-24 respectively.

Without the economies of quantity-purchase discounts and streamlined
production, the price for a kit would probably be somewhere between $30
and $60. That's just a guess, and a wild one at that!

Then again, one would probably consider the OVP as the price of
"insurance," because it surely doesn't "do" anything on a daily basis.
But when you need it, you really do need it.
