Question about KX3

W8ZN
Hi all,

I'm thinking about a KX3 for a portable VHF I.F. rig. Where can I find an explanation of the Auxbus protocol so I can build a band decoder for all the transverter bands since the KRC2 only does 3?

Thanks!!!

Re: Question about KX3

I met the same problem with the K3 and devised a switching system based on
"sniffing" the rs232 data.  See http://g4fre.com/K3_RS232_sw.htm It can
decode/drive 8 transverter bands. It gives a 1 of 8 band output and a 1 of 8
ptt

It also works with the KX3, I just tested it, although until Wayne writes
the software to support xverters on the KX3 transverters are pretty
irelevant to a KX3
