I've been through similar problems a couple of times. The first place to
start is find the 'Cheap and Dirty Signal Tracing' document on the Elecraft
Web Site at
http://www.elecraft.com/TechNotes/SigTr/K1%20Cheap%20'n%20Dirty%20Signal%20Tracing.pdf.
If that does not point to the problem I have found some bad solder joints in
the premix filter.
Another thing to do is spin the filter caps about 20 times each. Then start
checking the relays in the premix filter when set to 15 meters and the
crystal if you have a general coverage receiver available. I'm assuming you
are like me without a lot of test equipment?
