I only have a 5 element 6 meter beam at 30 feet or so....nothing stacked or high in the air. I hear an increase in background noise that is equal to or better than what I heard on my now ex PRO III. It is also more than on the Flex 5000A. The K3 performed very well during the June VHF contest.

Ive had no problems with my K-3 on 6m.  Have worked my share of dx.  The
problem has been not too much propagation this season.
