Thanks for all the responses, direct and to the list. I had much more
luck yesterday by doing two things: unscrambling my zipcord feedline,
and listining in the afternoon, when propogation was better. My KX1
reacted well on all three bands; I heard the pileup around the Cuban
station around 7010, too.
Nothing in the novice bands or around the qrp calling frequencies, though.
Gotta get my antenna higher!
