I'm happy with the list as it currently exists, but it would be courteous if postings specific to a particular Elecraft product contained the model number in the subject line.

Separate Lists

I too thought this would be a good idea after returning from a trip,
deleting all of the body part enhancing spam, and finding about 47% of
what was left was Elecraft stuff.  I've changed my mind, primarily
because I couldn't come up with a positive suggestion for how Eric could
manage such a behemoth ("if you can't come up with a solution, don't
complain about your problem")

That said, my needs for this list change.  Finishing the K2, I really
didn't care much about other's K2 problems since I sure wasn't going to
solve them.  Building the KX1 got me back into those with building
issues and information.  Finishing that project, I gravitated back to
the operational stuff.  Now, working on getting the KAT2 running,
building is back in the forefront.

I suppose potential posters for more esoteric subjects like "Magnetic
effects and Phase Noise" could survey who the other reflector posters
are on that subject and begin to voluntarily move it to a sub-group
using a personal email list. However, I doubt anyone in today's busy
world has the time to populate such a list.

For the time being, at least, the Delete key works for me.

For what it's worth, I remain

Fred K6DGW
Auburn CA CM98lw
K2 4398
KX1 897

(the S/N seem to be obligitory.  The KAT2 doesn't seem to have one, at
least that I've found yet)
