Has anyone here had experience with TRUE RF
Speech Processing? Such as the TT 715 or W9KNI's version. I talked to TT this morning, and they do offer a cable that fits the K3, and he said they sell several per month. Interestingly enough the tech I talked to runs a K2 and K3 at home. Just wondering how those several per month users liked it. I have the 715 leftover from my ProIII days, when I upgraded to the K3, and thought the 715 was a big improvement. 73 de Dana W8DH ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

The speech processing in the K3 is true RF speech processing. Its
handles it in the DSP at the IF and has an excellent improvement in speech power. An external unit is not necessary. 73, Eric WA6HHQ --- On 9/28/2010 8:14 AM, Dana wrote: > Has anyone here had experience with TRUE RF > Speech Processing? > Such as the TT 715 or W9KNI's version. When I got my K3 I had a 715 left over from my Omni VII.
After several comparisons I sold the 715! Another of the little black boxes I was able to get rid of when I switched to the K3!
