Hi, I just started using RTTY on the K3 and I have some questions that I hope someone can answer.
I am using MMTTY and so far I have done the following:
Set the radio to LSB and tuned into the signal. This works well, but I can't as yet figure out the frequency I am using especially if I use a spot in HRD.
Data mode using AFSK-A mode. MMTTY seems to have a hard time to tune into the signals. One question about this is that wplit is not available in data mode. Does one use XIT instead?
What about the FSK mode? Can you use this at the same time as HRD?
I've gone through all of the on line guides I can but there isn't anything specific to the K3, or is there?
