Hi Roger,
Here's the drill you need. I assume you're in CW mode in the
text examples given below. You'll see something slightly different
if you're in USB or SSB mode.
1. Tap DISPLAY to enter the first DSP menu.
In CW mode, you'll see something similar to[ C1 nr ] or [ C# nr ]
2 Hold RCL for > one second and release to enter the second DSP menu.
You'll see something like [ C1 LPASS ] or [ C# .## .## ]
3. Again hold RCL for > one second an release to enter the third DSP menu.
You'll see [ dSP On ].
4. Tap BAND- (band minus) to bypass DSP.
You'll see [ dSP bYP ].
5. Tap DISPLAY to restore your frequency display.
DSP is now bypassed.
To re-enable DSP do the following
1. Tap DISPLAY to enter the first DSP menu.
You'll see [ dSP bYP ].
2. Tap BAND+ (band plus) to re-enable DSP
You'll see [ dSP On ].
3. Tap DISPLAY to restore your frequency display.
In general holding RCL cycles through the DSP menus and BAND+ and BAND-
change values in those menus.
Hope this helps. Hope it's right, in fact <g>.
