I envy you guys that copy in your hear.
If it wasn't for decoders I would not be doing any CW!
I breezed thru 5WPM and later 13WPM. Never could get past 16-17WPM.
Ended up with a medical to get my Extra. I have the dreaded ringing in the
ears!!
It's a constant 900-1200 cycle single. CW start to blend at 16-17 WPM.
I used decoders to work DX and contest. My CW is get better but at this
rate I'll be about 175Yrs Old to get to 25WPM!!!!
So for all you people that want to get into CW. by all means use the decoder
of your choice.
But don't get caught up with it, try to copy using the coder as a backup.
It works.
