Greetings to the list. I recently purchased a K3, serial number in the late 800's. I absolutely love the radio so far. My question is, is the DSP performance really improved with the new board when you factor the cost?

Hunter,
The DSP performance is unchanged with the new DSP board. The only thing that changes is the audio response - extended low frequency response and the addition of a Low Pass audio filter. The audio path is on the DSP board, but has nothing to do with the DSP itself. 73, Don W3FPR Hunter Ellington wrote: > Greetings to the list.
