Hello Paul,
                 I do not know if this any help to you, I live 4 miles
S.E. of the City of Lincoln and about 5 miles from the 2 Kilowatt medium
wave transmitters of BBC Radio Lincolnshire. The Station uses 2 phased
vertical antennas, I have not noticed any BC break through on my KX3 fed
by a 80ft doublet antenna, I hope that you and others find a cure to the
problem.
