Hello Doug et all
The CE -marking is not "A REAL" approval, it's just A manufacturers claim of the product fullfilling the reqired standards. UL listing on it's behalf is an approval that's granted for the manufacturer after testing and inspection. The applicant must send all of the drawings, BOM, some required samples &c to UL. The UL inspector then regulary visits the manufacturer (an audit) to make sure that the approved product is as figured in the application of the approval... I worked as an UL representative years ago in FIMKO (Elecrical inspectorate of Finland) . So, don't worry about missing CE on the labels. In Finland some humorists call CE -marking as an abbreviation for "China Export" :-D. 73 & CU Penna OH2G, OH2CG [hidden email] kirjoitti 15.4.2019 klo 18.54: > Send Elecraft mailing list submissions to > [hidden email] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [hidden email] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [hidden email] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Elecraft digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
