Re: Elecraft Digest, Vol 30, Issue 5 New Transverters

Yes, I meant transverters from Elecraft!!!!!!

While other tranverters (from a diversity of companies) are now offered  even
up approaching the millimeter wavelength bands, no one offers a nice neat
commonality of an "IF" radio package, with a NO BAND GAP for band set-up for all
 of our 26 bands.

While I would not expect Elecraft {or any other manufacturer} to take up
this mantel in one swell foop, it would be quite an incentive to buy Elecraft! A
902 MHz band transverter would of course be the hot ticket for this point in
time, but other bands might be added in a timely manner, and perhaps even be
easier as the SHF bands were approached. Frequency stability would be the
watch-word at these shorter wavelengths, so a somewhat different scheme might be
addressed up above say 2.3 GHz.
