The region 1 FD rules then seem to be different to the RSGB FD ones.
The restricted sections of that certainly allow you to use a built in
second receiver as added a few years ago to allow the use of the FT1K
series.
"(b) and (c) Restricted and Low Power sections: One transmitter and
one receiver or one transceiver. Both receivers in a dual receive
transceiver may be used, if desired."
Suggest you talk to your contest committee....
