Hi Stephen. Check out my website at www.telepostinc.com. Look at the
section titled Remote Base Station Related Stuff.... The system I use
requires no PC at the remote site if you use the referenced hardware
serial device servers, but could be done with a Mac if there is a serial
device server utility available for the Mac.
