I'm  Newbie maybe a dumb newbie with a nicely wired K2. Called Elecraft for
help menu setting and like things. Was referred to page 88 of manual. Read
with fine tooth comb. Don't know any more and fear to call CA again for
chastisment about my inabilities. They really seemed to busy to talk to me.

Somebody out there got  the knowledge of how to set it up and a free
telephone,  Give me you fone nr and a couple of windows within whch to call
and maybe I can follow you step by step.  Otherwise the K2 is for sale at
cost and it has the bells and whistles. Also for sale a unused 20W antenna
tuner. Reasonable offer anticipated.

Meanwhile I'm back on Morse with an Icom 756Pro2 which is also reputed to be
a GOOD rig. Better fit to fingers

Hi Earl!

Maybe we can answer your question here.     What do you need to know about
the menu?

The first time I played with a K2 before I owned one was during a visit to
W1AW.   I had a devil of a time to figure out how to change modes, filter
settings etc.    But eventually I got the hang of it and now it's second
nature to flip through the menus to change tx-delay,  paddle settings etc.

If I gave up after one abrupt phone call I'd never had had the opportunity
to marry my sweetheart!
