For the ones who will like to hear how well the K3 sounds click on this link to access a directory of MP3's on my own website:

Then you can make your mind if it sound good or bad compared with other radios.

It sure would be nice for people passing these judgments to provide sound
clips that demonstrates this. It really isn't rocket science to run a rig's
audio into a soundcard and make an fb recording and then more than one
person can listen, compare, and discuss.

With your help and the help of others I got my K3 sounding similar now and
the way it sounds now is quite sweet.

Off topic:
Funny to hear that in you actually talked about me in a QSO with PI4DX
(operator Johan PD2DX). You transmission is not in the audio file but you
probably asked Johan if it was him who climbed one of the PI4DX towers you
can see on QRZ.com. In the audio clip you hear Johan explain that is was me
who climbed that tower, HI.
