Stephen,
Go for it, you'll really enjoy assembling a K2. Suggest you start with a
basic K2 plus the K2SB SSB board and a K2AT antenna tuner.
Use a good power supply. I use an Elpac 6 amp model that I picked up at
a Hamfest for $10.00
Good luck and keep the list informed as to your progress.
