I suspected that voltage drop could be a problem. My power supply has a nominal 13.8 Volt output, and the voltage as indicated by the KXPA100 Utility drops to around 13 volts (+ or - 0.1 Volts) during full power. However, there appears to be no correlation between the voltage drop and the power output (or the power dissipated). The output may vary by 15 to 20 watts for the same voltage drop.
My K2/100 appears to do better or maybe I just have less measurements.
