I use Windows XP Home on the shack computer and have the same effect on
boot up, I do not onw a K3 but it cycles the PTT on my Elecraft K2 &
KX3, also my Icom IC7000. As a matter of interest and out of curiosity I
have just booted up my Raspberry Pi 2 system and it does not activate
the PTT. As there has been no mention of other operating systems I
presume it is a Windows only effect. May I wish everyone on this list a
