I finally got enough free time to complete my K3 yesterday, run all the
final tests, down-load the latest firmware, get it connected in the shack to
all the goz-ins and goz-outs. It was well after dark so elected to see
what I could hear on 80 meters...First signal I ran across was a QSO between
Ron, AE6RH and Eric, KI6IBS where Ron was explaining to Eric what a K3 was.
I just had to call him. My first QSO with my K3 was with another K3 - What
are the odds? Check off another one #1864 is finally on the air -
