Re: Going digital. Will Elecraft produce a kit?

Why produce a kit when anyone capable of building a K2 can knock up a
satisfactory interface using a handful of junk box parts? I have never seen
the point of the RigBlaster. I admit that I'm now using a RigExpert
commercial interface but the reason for that was to free up the sound card
and serial port for something else.

This page http://www.g4ilo.com/k2psk31.html on my website, though written
from a PC / Windows perspective, may be of use.

It seems RigBlaster has a near monopoly on interfaces. Is there an
opportunity for Elecraft to produce a kit to do the same thing?

My microHAM USB interface II works very well.
It's supplied with a beautifully-built cable that mates
with your rig of choice.
