John, myself and somebody else requested this feature specifically for
VHF/UHF work. (This SSB > CW > SSB scenario is also very common on 6M, not
just microwave bands.) I was told that they would put it on the firmware
request list. I was assured that there is nothing in the K3's hardware
architecture that would preclude this mode of operation. For more details on
